New A Harmless Project Featuring Barel Ethical Luxury!

April 28, 2015

I'm so excited to finally share this with everyone! Featured in the first installment of A Harmless Project are the Cartella and Camera bags from Barel Ethical Luxury. I love this incredible company and their bags are absolutely stunning. For the last two weeks I've been carrying these bags everywhere and I can honestly say they're my new go-to bags; they're the perfect size for any adventure.

Aesthetics aside, I adore this company. They're dedicated to creating ethical, vegan products that are chic and modern without compromising quality. They make use of amazing eco-friendly and biodegradable materials like Mycro, a high quality Microfiber. It is stronger and lighter than leather with the same thickness and durability. This means these bags are super lightweight but can carry all your heavy-duty equipment like laptops and tablets. They’re spacious (even the little Camera bag pictured below), soft, and fully lined. With these bags you get the sense that they were lovingly crafted and the attention to detail is remarkable. Moreover, all Barel products are certified by the Institute for the Protection of Italian Manufacturers to ensure that all products are entirely made in Italy using the highest quality materials and upholding traditional Italian manufacturing standards.

You can see them in action on location in beautiful Downtown Los Angeles in the first installment of A Harmless Project. You can shop these bags here.

I styled Barel's Cartella bag with a classic pinstripe button down shirt from Finders Keepers and black lace shorts from Lovers + Friends. The backless detail on the shirt makes it perfect for day or night and light weight enough for the summer heat. The shorts are exactly the same, throw these on with a pair of flats or heels for a great day or night look. The shoes in this look are vegan flats from Cri de Coeur and they are as comfortable as they are perfect for summer.
