A Harmless Project: Jeane & Jax
Every year I end up working on my birthday and this year work took me to Las Vegas for the tail end of Memorial Day Weekend. The crowds had died down, the heat wasn't too extreme, and I somehow managed to find myself with the afternoon free. I had no idea how to spend my free time and celebrate so I grabbed a pair of simple heels, a casual black dress, and jazzed things up with a clutch from Jeane & Jax. I had almost no jewelry with me and the dress was just a jersey cotton piece I had lying around so I went for a sleek clutch to take the outfit to the next level. It's amazing how a simple piece like a clutch can make an outfit (or even a night) feel so special. I explored the hotel, went for a cocktail, watched the sunset, and had dessert in bed. All in all, it was a wonderful birthday.
I have a few of these bags that I've been using for awhile now and I can honestly say they're staples for me. I've been using their Black Hobo Bag non-stop for the last two weeks, it's the perfect shape and size and I can convert it to a shoulder bag or a crossbody/messenger depending on my needs. Most their bags come with convertible options which is really handy for travel or running to meetings. They're easy to clean, have durable linings, and the right number of pockets for all your goodies!
I was fortunate enough to meet owner and founder (and designer!) Silvia Gallo and her talented team just before my trip. Her passion for ethical business and charisma are contagious. She's effortlessly sophisticated, brilliant, and compassionate, all of which she brings to her collection for Jeane & Jax. Vibrant colors, decadent textures, and chic finishes give these bags style and reasonable prices (and free shipping to the US and Canada with worldwide shipping coming soon) keep you in style every season.
